I would think that it would have been pretty hard to demand royalties from others as long as LEXR
was in dispute. There also seems to have been an issue of demand that looks like would not
have been satisfied had the others not been contributing to the supply. I tend to subscribe to
the necessary evil of having competitors around if for nothing else for their production.
Hopefully in the near future we will not only see further royalty agreements but far greater
production capabilities. I do think Eli has been most wise and extremely cleaver to have apparently
manipulated the industry in SNDK's favor.
