Zonkie--I talked to one of Gore's pollsters about 6 weeks ago, and he said that it wasn't a personal choice of Gore's at all, it was a poll-driven decision based upon the fact that they were afraid of losing swing voters who didn't like Clinton. I ___________________________ Gore made a personal choice not to have Clinton campaign for him. I feel it was a mistake. If Clinton had campaigned for him he would have beaten Junior by an even larger margin.
