Weren't these the sucker downgrades. From Strong Buy to Buy. SSB said the new price target is now 60 was 80. Did any analyst say SELL. My point being that the companies these analysts represent have a financial relationship with CSCO, and so the downgrades are of the gentlest kind.

This is the same rubbish they were putting out when Dell disconnected with reality.

CSCO at 30 is something like Dell just under 40. It made some people so excited they had to take the bait. Didn't SUNW and ORCL just go through the same wringer. I absolutely guarantee you that Tomorrow morning on CNBC some Mutual Fund Manager will tell you why CSCO is a compelling buy at these prices.

Good Luck with CSCO I'll stick with the high flyers that have earnings (AMAT. NVLS, LRCX, KLAC etc.)

tough to know when to cover the amat short. I shorted nvls at 43 too.

The bigger balloons are beas, muse, cien, and qcom. Other stuff like vrsn, jdsu, sebl, brcd, and emlx are getting smashed too, but there peg's are down to about 1, which imho, means they are at atractive prices. I'd continue to short every tech with a pe of 100 and a peg of 2.0 that I can find.
