Articles are what they are, often deficient, contradictory, or rehashes. More often than not, there's still valid info to be gleaned from them. I don't post because I necessarily agree with them, just because they are what's in the news at the time. People forget "consolidation" also includes bankruptcy. Betting on a takeover saving Covad isn't a good bet, it's _not happening. It is "cheap" because of the nature, and depth, of its problems. They have to get their act together. Much of the mess they made, was inexcuseable.
