That basis was on PE and earnings.
They were supposed to make $2.90 a share with growth of 100%. That would have put their forward PE at about 10 or so (from when they were near 20) I believe. On this basis alone, if one believed the numbers, it was a good buy IMHO.

Flash is a needed commodity. I knew what SNDK did as I said. I did not think SSTI competed with INTC and was looking for confirmation.

I was simply looking for reasons that I might have overlooked to cause their stock to be dropping like a rock.
So yes, I am quite consfused right now.

It still seems like a value to me, even at the down revisions in EPS, but in this bear market I have no long positions right now. Before I buy back in to SSTI I want to make damn sure I have the story straight.

I had no reason to doubt the numbers.
Now, however, I am doubting every number. It appears to me that many companies have been lying through their teeth. I can not believe that all these "inventory" problems all happened overnight.

Hopefully this is a reasonable enough explanation.
