Of course CSCO can make it back to $40. Just give uz Naz 3000 and it's probably there. discount all this pessimism the last few days because it's one big short convention trying to drag everyone into it perhaps at the bottom. So far CSCO has held $30 and the selling and bashing is fading out now. CSCO, SUNW, ADBE are all battered but down at their bottoms (my opinion, could be wrong) now. If this remains thre case then they are all great buys now. Buy into the negativity and you get the best price. Just wait and the spin will change in a positive direction. Rate cuts, tax cuts, accelerated purchasing again, capital spending, better than expected recovery going inot the 2nd half. Can all come together and put CSCO back at $45 within a month or two. Not unrealistic to suppose though I'm sure bashers disagree.

> Do you think Cisco can make it back to $40 again

All you need to do is to go to the posts made on this thread back in summer of 1998. Then compare those posts to the ones you are reading right now talking about CSCO going to $10-$12/shr, and/or the world coming to an end, etc. etc. You notice that they are basically identical in context and in most cases word-by-word.

Then find out if all those shorts and bashers who flooded this thread at the time do even exist now (well with the exception of one or two who have appeared back again on this board). Then take a look at the chart of CSCO since then and ask yourself if the world is going to stop using the internet or is it going to expand on it?

Come back to this thread in late March/Early April and you see a bunch of irrational longs talking about CSCO going to $200/shr in no time! Those longs will be as naive as the shorts and bashers appearing on this thread now!

Just relax and enjoy the show. This is business as usual.
