Thanks, golf. Here's a report from WCOM's conference call regarding capex. It appears this represents a 15-20 percent decline in year-over-year capex spending.

2. Morgan Stanley. What should we expect for 1q. and capex?

A: 12-15% revenue growth for full year; lower end.

Capex. 8-8.5B and .5 for MCI. not including Embartel


And later:

Capex is going down in 2001; 1.5 -2B down.
