I think you are governed by your emotions, and let that color your perception of facts. You jumped to the conclusion that Shootie was talking about the person in question based on absolutely nothing. I know for a fact that a number of people on SI, including people you know, have had on-line flirtations, and have met each other in person, although I am not aware of any meeting which included physical intimacy.
