One of my favorite "stupid posts" was: "The market is a discounting mechanism- -except when it's not." A lot like the sky is blue - except when it's not. Very brilliant! and then there was that piercing and insightful question: "Are your eyes brown?" I'll never forget that one.

Bush Sends Tax Plan to Congress "A warning light is flashing on the dashboard of our economy, and we just can't drive on and hope for the best," Bush told an audience of Latino business owners, who braved the damp, chilly morning to hear his comments. "For several months," he said, "our economic growth has been in doubt, and now it may be in danger. Americans are hearing, and some feeling, the economic slowdown." There's a funny one, Bush get's his oil buddies to begin wrecking the economy. He then completes the action and now wants to pick the public pockets in the name of fixing it. Is there nothing he won't steal? TP
