God is an idea, a notion.

And Moses said unto God, Behold, when I come unto the children of Israel, and shall say unto them, The God of your fathers hath sent me unto you; and they shall say to me, What is his name? what shall I say unto them?
And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you. And God said moreover unto Moses, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, The LORD God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, hath sent me unto you: this is my name for ever, and this is my memorial unto all generations.

Morning Tom
Don't listen to Mars, he has a giant chip on his shoulder (its in the shape of a face)8-). I don't think it's nearly as antagonistic here as he says. I don't agree with your assessment of the Christian position. If you would like to discuss it we could do that.

Jesus did teach that it was the spirit of the Law that was important. but the question to ask is, just what is the Spirit of the Law saying? God gave Moses 10 commandments, the Jewish people extrapolated that to over six hundred. Jesus was asked, which of all these Laws was the most important?
If you are interested, I'll tell you what his reply was. Let me know.
Have a great day.
Greg
