I think its limited to 18" by 18". It might be 20" by 20"....I forget.

Yes, it can look at what was painted over.......pretty cool machine. It can see all layers, and you can filter out what layers you want to look at. It can manipulate the colors and enhance the image in a quite a few ways. It handles upto 18 x 24 inches.
