10:33 ET Corvis (CORV) 21 1/16 +1 9/16: -- Update -- Hearing trading floor rumors that Cisco (CSCO) will make a bid for CORV; these rumors have been around for months, even before CORV went public. There were reports that Corvis rebuffed a $10 bln bid from Cisco prior to going public (CORV market cap is now $7.2 bln). 10:26 ET Corvis (CORV) 20 7/8 +1 3/8 (+7%): Company has $650 mln backlog of orders and has no plans to change its financial outlook for the year, according to Reuters. Comments were made at the B of A technology conference.
