RE>>Where did you get a "conservative $8 target" from? <<

Sorry for the delay in answering your query :-)

I think people have $5 "stuck" in their heads from Winspear.
They ( as did I ) think that if we got $5 for WSP then
we mat get $5 bucks for DSP - simple math right :-)
The problem is we must assume equal property value and equal number of shares to get $5..

First
Everyone I know believes that DeBeers took advantage of a very depressed mining sector and almost stole Winspear... Management held less than 10% of the stock and no white knight appeared. Also they paid Aber and equivalent of $7 / share. This time management will not need to hope for a WK as they own a controlling interest in the stock! It will be a seller market for DSP !

Second
With DeBeers already having to spend the money for development at Snap then the costs of mining can be discounted in a bid for more minable property :-) That makes it more valuable - also in for a dime in for a buck it is not like DeBeers is going to walk on this now they have over 1/2 a billion invested RIGHT THERE NOW !!

Third
There is a chance that the King Property could be more valuable than Snap ( also less ) The 3.37 metre intersection 400 metres from the King border "indicate" that the source ( yet unknown ) may be on the King property. Even if it is "equal" value to Snap that would still be fine.

Fourth
When WSP was bought there was 60 million shares outstanding - barring further financing we have 19,800 million shares out right now but a grand total of 29 Million fully diluted !!! That is 1/2 as many shares and Winspear was on the verge of needing more financing ( one of the reasons DeBeers jumped on the take out I believe )

Conclusion
Even if the property is only Equal to Snap and even if DeBeers only paid what they paid Aber ( $7/ share ) then this stock would be worth $14/ share...

THIS IS NOT EVEN COUNTING THE VALUE OF THE OTHER FOUR GOOD PROPERTIES!!!

That is why I strongly believe that this stock will go for much more. With Snap Lake being taken out by DeBeers and the fact that they have applied for permits to develop ( not moth balling as some suspected ) people can take these plays far more seriously than they ever did before. DeBeers will want all the minable reserves they can get and it will pay them to pay a little more than before. Infrastructures will be justified more and more by size!!

Eight bucks is very conservative *IF* we hit kimberlite

$5 bucks will likely be seen before we even know for sure if it is there.

Oh Oh there is that $5 bucks again :-)
