For those with a short term memory, let me remind you that Reagan's years in the White House were anything but pretty...anyone remember the Iran-Contra affair in which Reagan lied about trading arms for hostages with the Iranian regime?...I also seem to recall several CIA officers and security advisors being indicted for the same...further, the Reagan admin was fraught with governmental wrongdoings and various shenanigans by top federal agencies including the EPA, Dept of Housing and Urban Development and Dept of Defense all of which were hit with major scandals and all of which ended in criminal prosecutions...anyone remember Atty General Ed Meese and his having to resign in disgrace ala the Wedtech influence peddling scandal?...I could go on and on....
