Dumb action of the day! I entered a password in the setup cmos and, I think, removed it, but the setup is asking for a password and of course I have forgotten it. Help!

Gottfried, To reply to your e-mail quest, this is what I experienced: Your ISP provider, may it be slow speed, DSL or Cable, is the first option. Such as that, they do change more often than we like, so you have to use some backup or backups, which can be more permanent e-mail addresses. I have several with the same name, from all of these I can collect and send the mail into Outlook, Outlook Express or Eudora. If I change my ISP, I still have the others to rely on. The spam factor certainly is important, only time will tell the good ones. I do use, www.excite.com, www.yahoo.com, www.email.com, www.myrealbox.com (run by Novell), and now www.mollymail.com. On Yahoo, I now start to get some spam, but the others, especially, myrealbox is free of it. As I said, these are in addition to my ISP which is DSL, but nothing is permanent. Good luck, Alex
