hb, I always thought the Chinese curse was wrongheaded. I'd rather live in interesting times. I just don't want my market returns to be too interesting. <g>

It hasn't been much more than a decade when folks were talking about the end of the US as an economic superpower and how we should copy Japanese techniques. Funny the way perceptions change. Of course, at the same time, they were telling us why tech stocks deserved a less than market pe ratio due to their low generation of free cash flow. Those folks were about to learn about creative accounting and paying employees with options. <g>

As a contrarian, I just find it funny when nearly all the comments start going one way on any subject. A few folks on SI are among the lunatic fringe who actually take a look and say "how could this change?"
