I mean a 40% increase for 2000 over 1999? If I had known that I would have liquidated my position immediately ... would not have passed Go ... and would not have collected $200. I am NOT talking handsets ... I am talking subs ... net subs ... the number from which calculations of handset sales are made after one crystal ball gazes churn rate and replacement sales, after analyzing trends ... like, technology growth rate. As late as September CDG was talking 100 million total subs, a 100% YOY growth rate instead of the 60% to 70% we will wind up with when audited numbers are in. Do you remember that Terry Yen (Volpe, Wheelan, Brown) slide from April that you were measuring on your screen with a straight edge? Do you find this updated CDG slide presented in June and again in September with the 100 million airbrushed in credible? I find it incredible:cdg.org Must be a typo. A Used Car Dealership wouldn't present a slide like that where I reside. Pardon the mini-rant. <g> << thanks for pointing out that CDMA infrastructure sales exceeded the GSM world's. That's quite a watershed! >> CDMA sales including 3GSM exceeded total cdmaOne, PHS, PDC, GSM & GPRS sales by a wide margin. 3G3 CDMA (bookings) have arrived. Ramsey, will, I think, allow a CHEER on this one. I will hoist a pint tonight in honor of this CDMA achievement. We have been waiting awhile for this milestone. All else will fall into place. - Eric -
