Jeff, Greetings. I already knew the meaning of the brown eyes reference and was the fortunate recipient of it from James M. It seems likely though that the only thing James knows abut me is that I ridiculed a couple of posts of his. Perhaps that's enough information for James to make such a broad conclusion. Doesn't strike me as a very thoughtful person though. So we're on opposite ends of the spectrum? Help me out with some specifics; which political opinions or alleged facts do we differ on? Or, at least, what's the basis of the conclusion that we're on opposite ends of the political spectrum? I'm certainly at a loss to proffer such a conclusion. Please refer to: Message 15321420 ;the text of a discussion on the tax reduction proposal. Is it a reasonably accurate assessment of the specific points? Is it what you wanted in a tax reduction? If you take exception to any of the points in the text, why? Or do we do take the approach of James. Scan the header [or note the "political affiliation" of the poster] and conclude that Friedman must have brown eyes? No reason to read further; turn on Rush and pop a cold one. jttmab
