Sun expats are thick in the ranks of R&D, including a "Sun Fellow" or two. Mark doesn't call many shots, so his CSCO experience (limited as it is) is of no import. However, the Chm of the Bd of NTAP is Don Vallentine, who used to be Chm of the Bd of CSCO. And the CFO of CSCO is on the NTAP board. But Don has never "worked" for CSCO. He just owns much of the company as an early VC. (CSCO works for him.)
