I've a friend who's a ski instructor,.... Kitty strongly believes the younger they start the more fun the whole family will have...especially in the winter.<chuckle>

She also says..., "Don't make the mistake by trying to teach them yourself at the beginning. Even a ski instuctor should turn them over to some one else for the first few years. After they've worked out the basics with kids their own age..., then ski with them." Something about independence, bonding and parental complications. Better to let a group of same age kids hammer it out. <smile>

My wife did some architectural programing for UBC a few years ago and so we added 10 days to one trip.., skied and visited Vancouver. Took on both mountains and some back bowls, stayed in a condo. Never forget breaking through an overcaste morning to find the top in sunshine.

Great city in many many ways.

Ate at Bishops and a few other places.
