Hi Ed,

A much stronger close than I expected for today. I suspected we could give back up to 1/2 of yesterday's gain especially after the weak premarket trading this morning.

Perhaps Biotech fund managers are more forward looking than the average mutual fund manager that doesn't seem able to look much past the last trading day of any particular month. It makes sense as most Biotechs tend to be priced looking forward at their prospects rather than looking backward at their earnings or lack thereof.

Saw Milberg Weiss jumped onto the class action bandwagon today. I hope that QLT hires the law firm that successfully sued that scum for its frivolous lawsuits. Perhaps we could see an unexpected one time source of income. :^)

In any case the flow of news has changed for the better this week. The stock price even spiked into positive territory on the day shortly after 3:30.

I'm again feeling more optimistic about both the short and long term prospects for the company.

Have a good weekend,
Ian.
