No I said the relevant part that could be considered a "bubble" was the period from the 4th quarter 1999 through the 1st quarter 2000.

The rise in the Nasdaq from around 1200 in 1996 to 2600 in mid 1999 the relevant period that I discussed was completely justified by the explosion in earnings growth spurred by unprecedented increases in worker productivity. I view the rise from 2600 to over 5000 in the Nasdaq to be the core of the speculative "bubble". But this "bubble" was very short lived, about 6 months.
