Republicans in 2001 are more represented by Pro-Life, Religious values, and freedom (backed by a strong Military) than anything you mentioned.

What you stated is VERY MUCH what Democrats stand for. Deception, Division, more Government, give money away, less military.

M.

Scumbria,

Fairness and charity are considered virtues in any civilized society. Another virtue is being responsible for our nation's finances.

How is this related to your Karl Marx / Scumbria theory on who "needs" a tax cut?

Joe

The traits which typify Republicans in 2001 are fear, blame and greed.

I see a lot of blame and fear from the Democrats and in your posts. You can claim that your blame and fear are based on facts and accurate projections but the Republicans (those who are acting on or talking about blame and fear) would say the same thing. As for greed I see high taxes as greedy. The government is greedy for money from the people of this country and the politicians lust for the power that they can get from spending more of it.
