Joe,

I think most Christian would prefer to do their "sharing" directly, not through the Health and Human Services administration.

Your posts have clearly indicated to me your generous spirit towards others. I'm certain that you give lots away to charity.

"I am not sure if it is a Christian idea to share one's wealth with the US government "

Render unto Caeser, Caeser's due. Generally considered to mean pay your taxes. Maybe you interpret it differently?

I am not sure if it is a Christian idea to share one's wealth with the US government (which is the most atheist and anti-christian entity since the collapse of the Soviet Union).

Joe,

For very good reasons, our government was established with a definitive separation between church and state.....a very wise decision on the part of our founders. That does not make our gov't anti-christian nor atheist as was the Soviet Union.

You are not in Czechoslovakia anymore nor in Kansas, jojo.

Are all Republicans as irrational and motivated by non facts as you are?
