GV, It seems like Kraemer is avoiding the valuation for NTAP. He stepped up for EMC and BRCD in the last week or so, but I didn't see him reiterate his $185 for NTAP.

I was amused that ML had 3 analysts on the NTAP call. That was probably something like $10-20 million in annual compensation from ML alone.

Right now, it looks to me like a 2- to 3-quarter turnaround, at the very least, to get those numbers trending the right way again.

GV, I took a closer look at ML's numbers on NTAP. They cut their operating income estimates going forward but offset those declines by raising interest income. Interestingly, they shaved about $500K off their 2002 revenue estimate. The level of precision is stunning.<g>
