all the attempts at debt reduction and fiscal responsibility in this government are being thrown out in one fell swoop using inflated future cash flow scenarios...

I am desperately trying to find the details of the Dem proposal to tie the cuts to actual reductions in government spending. I first heard about it over the weekend on one of the Sunday political news programs. It may be too early to see anything in print for public consumption.

The fear was we are about to devolve into another flirtation with supply-side voodoo economics. I guess it's been a while since anyone read David Stockman's confession entitled The Triumph of Politics: Why the Reagan Revolution Failed.
