Yes indeed! . Because there can be differences between the company and its stock, I certainly want sceptics allowed in. They make me think. It is just the contentious posters, of any ilk, that discourage careful study.

Pat, please give it some thought. As JDSU climbs higher in the firmament, it will become even more advantageous to have a moderated thread.

Then make it moderated and enforce an on-topic focus with violators summarily ejected. Or let us vote on those to banish. The result would be the same.

Basically, as I understand it, the moderated threads allow you to have a virtual bouncer. I have trouble with that since I feel negative opinions are essential to the investment decision process. What I don't like is someone using the thread to promote his or her political opinions ad infintum. I have to be careful throwing stones since I did defend my position in the turmoil after the elections.

At any rate, I'm for freedom of speech and for now, if this thread works, let's keep it. If someone becomes offensive and won't respond to polite requests to cool it, then I'll support a replacement.
