WTF?!?!? Fed says drains $1.5 bln in reserves

Another day or two of that would get really interesting. One day doesn't make a trend, but something like that would be the first sign that the liquidity trap is biting but hard.

could be that they're reading us (i'm not kidding - i know for a fact that they read several internet sites) and want to placate our misgivings over the recent splurge.
