Nasdaq may not be in a panic mode, but it's still sliding (slowly).
It's not clear whether the federal government will be borrowing or paying off debt. It probably won't be clear for a couple of years. I wouldn't expect much until that fundamental question is answered.

I just hope the index holds above 2200, so at least we are assured that Fed has put a floor on this thing.

I guess I'm confused how the FED and Alan Greenspan can stop people from selling. I few kind words and a 1/2 point cut supposed to do the trick? BWTFDIK
