When someone uses a public forum to intentionally harm someone the harm cannot be undone and is multiplied by the number of people who have viewed the piece written to cause the harm. Of course, the people causing the harm know this and that is their intent.

Lawsuits surrounding intentional harm done via public posts can end up with large damages - and deservedly so.
