J.M: The SOX is also in decline. Inventory does not correct in weeks. It takes more than 6 mths. For timing check out the Eqpt test Companies and the PLD mfgrs as these are the ones that show maximun resilience. The test Companies are talking of 2002. The PLD ALTR had inventory corrections before. each time it took them over 6 mths to turn up.. Check ALTR March 96-June96 and Sep97 Dec 97. Based on the past , I do not see any advantage of buying the Semis before June/July except for very tight swing trading intraday/couple of days at most..
