Good for her! It takes a talent that some have and many don't.

Good jazz....really good jazz as with really good jazz musicians just kinda happen. Miles Davis would write the music, then copy each piece for the particular instrument and hand out their pieces just before recording. He thought it was fresher that way. Lester Young, who never really garnered a name for himself at the time like Davis, Monk, Coltrane and the like would start playing , like stepping into someones shoes not knowing the piece but playing as smooth as if he'd played it before. Armstrong, in his earlier days, could do that very same thing. It's like a second skin.....intuition maybe.....or as they've said it many times....you just feel it.....that's all.

Shootie, you should start a Blues/Jazz thread....ya never know how many followers there are out there.
