Tulvio Plane crashes are not fun. I experienced one in 1994 when the landing gear in my airplane failed. Fortunately no injury to me and slight damage to my plane. Glad your friend punched out ok. My wife made me do a parachute jump a few years ago so I would be better prepared in an emergency. It was a christmas present. When I opened the box and saw a letter that said "Snohomish Parachute Center" I was speechless. I was not going to do it. Why tempt fate! Anyway she worked on me for two years before I finally did it. I wear a parachute when I fly my motorglider!
