Why would society need to accede to your claims? You are ONE person

I am interpreting that question as "why would it be in society's interest to accede to my claims" rather than "why would it be necessary for society to accede to my claims."

Because we're all claiming the same freedoms. The best way for me to guarantee my freedoms is to respect those of everyone else. Society has figured out that there is strength in numbers. If I don't accede to your freedoms and you don't accede to mine, then society will break down and not be able to support anything.

If I were to claim some screwball freedom, society may not accede to it. Or society might acknowledge it as my right but not put much effort into protecting it. My best strategy might be to assert my right to be weird, in general. There might be a consensus on that. Freedoms on which there is a strong consensus are the easiest to guarantee.
