Hi Frank, the remark was not meant to be a serious one. However ... Have you and your colleagues determined "what" the carriers actually want ... other than making a profit, that is ? Here in the NE, Verison surely seems to want us as DSL customers (finally). And so does Earthlink. I've been waiting for several years, since I got my first introduction to the various DSL Pioneers, buying , making a few bucks, and subsequently losing at least the sleeves from my shirt on those "investments". Let me see ... Pairgain at 80+ Bucks, as I recall :-).
