Yes but the developing nations want the good life too. When the developed nations tell them not to consume, they quickly point the finger at the hypocrit. The rate of population increase in underdeveloped nations is a double timebomb. Jim, Forget the developing nations for the moment....when compared to the other developed nations, we over consume....and many of them are more prosperous than we are.....so its not a question of $$$. Why do we have to consume more than is necessary to survive and have a good life? ted
