Joe,

It is pretty obvious that pumping a lot of cash into consumers pockets is going to cause inflation. Try taking a basic economics class to understand.

The economy sank into a recession the year after Reagan's tax cut, and of course there was no inflation. We did however get a big bump in the deficit which prompted Reagan to implement a huge increase in Social Security taxes.
