...a couple hundred shares...

Are you kidding? 200 shares! All that noise over 200 shares? The way the venom has been flying around this thread, I would've guessed six and seven figure exposures were at stake. Are you sure it's not 200,000?

What does one make shorting 200 CSCO at 82, and covering today anyway? $11,000!

Cheers, PW.

i don't claim to be the richest person in the world when it comes to my person finances, but I am more then comfortable. The one wealth I have that you can't buy is my knowledge and wisdom. I would personally give up everything material and start over again rather than lose my understanding of the world I live in.

You and those that brag about your "under $5 average cost" can retire to a beach some where, but you will always be lost in a world you don't understand. Ignorance is bliss though...have fun in your retirement. Enjoy your fantasy world...if only we all were as "lucky" as you. Oh...and the other "curse" that I have that many of you seem to lack, is the compassion for the "little guy" that buys stocks like csco at $60 bucks and holds. The braggers with average prices under $5 probably haven't bought a single share in years, even they they claim to. They call these garbage stocks "long term buys here", every damn week. When the average Joe is screwed and wonder if they will ever retire, I hope you will be able to enjoy your retirement.

I personally will take no pride in being "rich" off this market decline and the economic disaster that awaits. But, I will be able to say "I tried to warn you", "I tried to help explain things", "I tried to help". That will be the only thing that will help me sleep at night.

vaya con dios,
