Scumbrier, RE:"If the Government had not mandated high mileage, low emissions automobiles 30 years ago, we would be in deep do-do now." Very true... Also, if people would actually drive the more fuel efficient cars we wouldn't be in as much doo-doo either. Like I said before, Americans love those guzzlers... Now who's fault is that? Mirrors? If the ANWR refuge is drilled it will be because people want to feed those SUVs with cheap gas... NOT because some oil company wants to drill it... Jim
