You are exactly right, and that is my point. They should be irrelevant IMO if you were told that you had to buy equal shares of each stock like we were. In an equal dollar amount contest I (and most people) would have chosen our stocks differently. Plus I still say that if your money (and therefore you stocks) grow at a higher percentage than the other guy you should win. And, as I said that is how the tracker already does it. No need to respond. I don't feel like arguing anymore. We obviously have different opinions of what constitutes good stock picking. I say it is picking stocks that make your money grow.
