Billy, another pick Du Jour of yours warns. I think the archives here show you were doing your typical hype and pump when Vcnt was at 60!
>SUNNYVALE, Calif., Feb 8 (Reuters) - Vicinity Corp. (NASDAQ:VCNT), on Thursday said it sees lower-than-forecast fiscal second quarter loss of between 22 cents and 23 cents a share, excluding charges, on revenues ranging from $5 million to $5.1 million.

In a statement, Vicinity said its lowered expectations for the quarter ended Jan. 31, were primarily because of tightened client budgets for marketing and infrastructure spending.

Vicinity also said it has incurred about $1.1 million, or 4 cents per share, in restructuring charges for a previously announced plan to reduce its workforce and for other actions.

Vicinity shares ended trading on Thursday unchanged at $2-13/32 on the Nasdaq market. The news announcement came after the market closed.

And just a bit more for fun:-)

Q. Which companies form a core group of Internet survivors?
A. You are going to be left with America Online and eBay, new business models with huge staying power. Cnet looks like a long- term winner. Amazon.com looks like a survivor, but I don't know if it has staying power as a stock. That company has built a great, not a good, business. But it is proving to be much harder for them to be the Wal- Mart of the Internet than they thought.
Yahoo has built a great business franchise, but their business model is still evolving. I think Inktomi has a very interesting business model. BEA Systems is a very important company.

An I suspect as William Harmond thought too....

It is time Bill to say I was always correct about the FA of Amazon. You will never hear the end until you do and it will not take long for Amazon to entirely fall apart.

Let's make this as painless as possible since I did so by admitting two years ago I was incorrect about the stock price.

It is time to "Stand up and be counted."

Your friend is patiently waiting;-)
