relief rallying and short covering rallies doubtfully take us higher... i'm sticking with the plan to retest lows and then lower. dow maybe sticks up... for now... no time to be looking for big bounces, as the plight away from tech continues

Hi Zeev,
long time no see. I have a hunch that the AMAT call on Tuesday will be significantly more negative than the consensus and that means we may see some sinkings subsequently. just a WAG

Zeev;

Interesting that the NAZ tick rallied sharply to close at the best level of the day.

BTW, THE CONTRARY INVESTOR (now a pay service) had some interesting info on the 1973-75 bear market. Seems the Dow held up fairly well in 1973 as the NAZ got smashed. But the Dow got smacked badly during the latter half of the bear in 1974.

A warning to Dow bulls.
