Compaq's iPAQ uses the older version of what Intel now calls XSCALE. I think Intel called it the StrongARM 1100.

The XSCALE parts should be straight forward speed enhancements if they replace the StrongARm 1100 in Compaq's iPAQ.

That processor comes out of Intel's Hudson fab running a non-Intel process. I don't think they could make 25x more of that processor. The XScale is an all-Intel version which will have access to much more capacity.

Seems that Corning makes that type of display. The market is trashing their stock. So much for rationality.
