Victor, is this a sign of things to come?
Oh! I told Paul Allen you'd buy his priceline.com shares, if he couldn't dump them. <g>
>Vulcan sells stakes in Internet companies

WASHINGTON - Vulcan Ventures, the technology-heavy investment firm of Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen, reported it no longer holds shares in several Internet-related companies, including Seattle-based InterNap Network Services.

Vulcan Ventures disclosed in filings with the Securities and Exchange Commission that it has sold stakes in the companies, which also included Zany Brainy, Ari Network Services, Viewpoint and Net Perceptions. William Savoy, who runs the Bellevue-based investment firm, couldn't be reached to comment. Savoy said recently that technology stocks are overvalued.

Vulcan Ventures reported last year that it held 4.7 million InterNap shares, or a 7.2 percent stake.

InterNap, which went public in September 1999, builds what it calls private network-access points that connect to all the major telecommunications networks carrying Internet traffic. Its shares have fallen more than 90 percent since reaching an all-time high last February.
