I get the impression that Bush really wants to unite the country, to bring people together, to end divisive politics. Clinton and to a lesser extent Gore made their
living by creating divisiveness and animosity were previously none existed.
It is not hopeless. The greatness of this country is with the people not the government. Either you are part of the problem or part of the solution. Within all of us is the
ability to make this country a better place or a bitter place.

Give me a break. The country has survived far worse than George Bush, even if he is as bad as his critics say he is. Since we have him, I am willing to wait and watch and I wish him well. After all, if he is a successful president, it will be good for the country.
