I'm not saying Clinton didn't play into their hands. He obviously did.

All I'm saying is that whether he did or not(kinda tough to prove now), it wouldn't have mattered, they were going to get him on something, even if they had to fabricate it out of thin air.

Some polls I saw indicated that if Clinton was eligible to run again, he would have won again....which says to me he wasn't Gore's reason for not carrying the election.

But it's all conjecture now, "Hail! Hail! Dubya's our man! If he can't think, maybe Cheney can!"

You are right on those comments. Did you happen to catch any of good ole Ms Tripp on Larry King last night? It is incredible; the woman has a complete face over. Who the hell paid for that? Not to worry though...she will recoup the costs from her Playboy spread.
