Craig, sure the Congress and President can meet and decide to do whatever they want, but, they cannot decide to take actions that break the law, colluding to control or manipulate the equities market has put many people in jail (Boesky, Milliken just few more notorious cases), every time two parties act "in concert" to influence the price of equities, they break the law, and thus I hope that that speculation of an intentional anti tech stance coordinated from the white house, is just a rumor. I don't think the techs needs the white house help in that respect, they can achieve that goal all by their little self.
