Glenn:

I was nervous when I shorted Amzn at 100, but now I sleep better since I know Bezos cannot defy gravity. There were too many Amzn cheerleaders around 1998 and 1999 and the crowd (especially fund managers) listened to the analysts. Although Amzn business model did not make sense from the beginning, wall street was willing to give benefit of the the doubt. The situation has changed quite a bit: I think even at this level shorting Amzn has a limited risk. Priceline.com and Etoys have shown the way, and Amzn will follow.
