This kind of observation is not deep enough and corrected by seasonal effects of semiconductor business. Traditionally, business booking goes to zilch after November 15 each year. Semi manufacturers live on billings until March 15 when bookings come back. Worked and ran semiconductor business for 30 years, myself. Semi business has not changed except for the blunders Intel made on technical performance of P4 and obsolescence of other cpus too soon. With the convergence of telecom, cable and TV in the computer world(wireless, DWDM, router switching and MP3 data transfer), economy this year will continue to improve. Please be more thorough in your small talk. Take in the fundamentals and benchmark and ballon them in your technical analysis or charting.
