Tom it baffles me as well. Great post. Unfortunately, the Senate trial became more of a public relations, Madison Avenue issue than a legal one. Had public sentiment turned on Bill, he would have been toast in the senate. The Dems (and some repubs) are bright enough to know which way the wind is blowing. Sad but true.

Dear Thomas: Nah, its not that complicated, its merely the old adage, "Money talks, Bullshit walks" in play. Looks like we got both. I watched all of the hearing that was televised on CSPAN and if anyone thinks that wasnt pure out and out BRIBERY compounded with YES PEOPLE at Justice then they must also believe in the tooth fairy.
